  I'm very happy with my RoadLoft kit! My boyfriend and I used the RoadLoft kit on our North America road trip for over 3 months. The initial set up was very smooth.   Pour moi Roadloft, c’est la réalisation de mon rêve de retraitée soit de pouvoir voyager avec un seul véhicule (pas de roulotte à traîner), sans se ruiner (beaucoup moins cher qu’un classe B et sans les frais d’immatriculation et d’assurance supplémentaires), tout en pouvant y vivre de façon autonome (dormir, cuisiner et manger) et ce, confortablement. Je n’avais jamais fait de camping de ma vie et je me suis aisément adaptée à cette vie de liberté. Mon conjoint compare notre aventure aux voyages de cyclotourisme qu’il a fait dans sa jeunesse mais avec le luxe et le confort d’un véhicule. De plus, Roadloft offre un service 5 étoiles et très personnalisé. Merci à toute l’équipe Roadloft!

  Toutes mes escapades furent mémorables. En un mot c’est la liberté d’être presque partout où l’on veut.

Description

The Roadloft SUV Camper Kit is made from sustainably-managed wood that is FSC, PEFC, and CARB Phase 2 certified. Our wood is also protected by an ecological varnish, durable and without any toxic fumes. With the help of our designers, we have designed a solid product, made to withstand the vibrations of the road thanks to innovative and solid assembly methods.

Installation

Quick and easy installation in less than 5 minutes (only requires a star screwdriver).

The first assembly is done in about 20 minutes and allows you to define the height of the kit according to your choice.

Inclusions

The RoadLoft SUV kit includes:

Long bed (72 in x 48 in): configurable in single or double mode
Sectional foam mattress: high-density polyurethane foam (HR 30 kg/m³), washable, and made of memory foam
Protective cover: waterproof, machine washable, and equipped with a zipper
Kitchen setup under the tailgate: includes a dedicated fridge space, a drawer for a two-burner propane stove, a swivel shelf, a cutting board, and a retractable sink
Ventilated panels: cover the entire top of the structure to allow moisture to escape from storage spaces and under the mattress
Storage space: located beneath the entire surface of the conversion kit
Cutting board: made from food-grade HDPE plastic
Retractable sink
Multi-layer water-based varnish treatment with no toxic emissions: all the wooden components of our SUV kit go through up to six rounds of sanding and varnishing
Optional: our extra-comfort mattress (3.5 in), developed over the past few months under the supervision of a kinesiologist and tested by focus groups, is ideal for covering the bed. Made of high-density foam (HR 30 kg/m³) (2.5 in) topped with memory foam (1 in) and protected by a waterproof, machine-washable cover.
