Maintenance, Repair and Warranty of RoadLoft Products

The purchaser must use the Roadloft conversion kit, accessories and other “Roadloft” related products in accordance with the instructions in the “Roadloft User Guide” provided to the purchaser at the time of purchase. As a result, the buyer is solely responsible for damage, breakage or premature deterioration resulting from improper use or improper installation.

The warranty covering Roadloft products is for a limited period of twelve (12) months from the date of purchase. As a result, in the event that a product is defective during the warranty period, RoadLoft will ensure that the product is repaired or fully replaced if repair is impossible. 

Any buyer wishing to avail himself of the warranty must, as soon as possible, send a written notice to Roadloft, including the elements described below, to the email address info@roadloft.com

  • A proof of purchase of the product;
  • The nature of the defect or defect affecting the product;
  • Photos to assess the condition of the product.

Minor aesthetic defects are not covered by the warranty, as they do not affect the functionality of the product. In addition, the warranty is strictly limited to the buyer appearing on the sales contract, and cannot under any circumstances be transferred or paid for.



Do not open the package: If you notice external damages, do not open the package immediately. This could compromise the possibility of claiming the warranty. 


Take pictures of the box: Take pictures of the damaged box from various angles, making sure the photos clearly show the external damages.


Open the package carfully: Once you have taken clear photos, open the damaged box to inspect the product inside.


Take pictures of the product’s condition if damaged.

 

Any buyer wishing to avail himself of the warranty must, as soon as possible, send a written notice to Roadloft, including the elements described below, to the email address info@roadloft.com


  • A proof of purchase of the product;
  • The nature of the defect or defect affecting the product;
  • Photos to assess the condition of the product.
  • Photos to assess the package’s condition before opening the box. 

Inapplicable warranty

Any purchaser of a product manufactured by Roadloft wishing to take advantage of the warranty after one of the following situations listed below will have his request automatically declined:

  • the product has been used abnormally or for a purpose other than that for which it is intended;
  • the product has been exposed to an inadequate environment or to special conditions;
  • the product has been modified by the buyer or a third party;
  • the product has been repaired by someone other than a member of the Roadloft team.


Maintenance or repair

All parts of the module and related products are replaceable and / or repairable, at the expense of the purchaser, subject to the application of the warranty.

Any buyer submitting an application to Roadloft for the replacement or repair of a product will receive a detailed quote of the work and the necessary replacement parts. Repair work and / or product replacement procedures, as the case may be, will commence upon receipt of (i) Buyer’s acceptance of the bid and (ii) the total cost of repairs and / or replacements in the bid. submission.

Transportation and handling charges

Subject to the provisions of the Politique de retours et d’échanges , you are responsible for all costs incurred in returning your item to Roadloft for the replacement or repair of a product, including but not limited to transportation and handling charges. If Roadloft pays such fees on your behalf, these will be charged to your credit card or to your original method of payment.

Limited liability of RoadLoft

You are solely responsible for ensuring that you use Roadloft products safely and in accordance with the laws and regulations applicable to the territory within which you wish to use them.

Subject to the terms and conditions hereof, you agree to exonerate and hold Roadloft from and against all claims of any nature whatsoever, including, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, any and all causes of action, actions, proceedings, suits or demands which may be brought, prosecuted or asserted against Roadloft, its employees, officers, directors and any other representatives on your behalf, on behalf of your heirs, liquidators, executors, insurers and assigns, or by any third party in respect of (i) any bodily injury, including any injury, sickness or death, and (ii) any material loss, including, without limitation, any material breakdown or expense of any kind, regardless of the manner in which such causes actions, actions, proceedings, lawsuits or claims arise and whether unforeseen or unforeseen, arising from your purchase and / or your re use of Roadloft products.

In case of dispute, the French version prevails the English version.
