I'm very happy with my RoadLoft kit! My boyfriend and I used the RoadLoft kit on our North America road trip for over 3 months. The initial set up was very smooth. The kit is well designed with lots of places for storage and the mattress is very comfy! We can't wait to do more road trips this summer.

Pour moi Roadloft, c’est la réalisation de mon rêve de retraitée soit de pouvoir voyager avec un seul véhicule (pas de roulotte à traîner), sans se ruiner (beaucoup moins cher qu’un classe B et sans les frais d’immatriculation et d’assurance supplémentaires), tout en pouvant y vivre de façon autonome (dormir, cuisiner et manger) et ce, confortablement. Je n’avais jamais fait de camping de ma vie et je me suis aisément adaptée à cette vie de liberté. Mon conjoint compare notre aventure aux voyages de cyclotourisme qu’il a fait dans sa jeunesse mais avec le luxe et le confort d’un véhicule. De plus, Roadloft offre un service 5 étoiles et très personnalisé. Merci à toute l’équipe Roadloft!

The Roadloft SUV Camper Kit includes:

  • Long bed (72 in x 48 in) configurable in single or double mode.
  • Kitchen layout under the tailgate with space dedicated to a fridge, a drawer for a two-burner stove, cutting board, retractable sink.
  • Unobstructed view typical and so appreciated by RoadLoft customers.
  • Ventilated panels on the entire structure to promote a good ventilation and allowing air flow for the storage spaces and the mattress.
  • Storage space under the entire surface of the conversion kit.
  • Multi-layer protection treatment without toxic fumes: all the wood components of our kit for SUVs pass up to six times in the sanding and varnishing chamber.

Optional: Our extra-comfort mattress

  • As an option, our extra-comfort mattress (3.5 in.) developed over the last few months under the direction of a kinesiologist, tested by control groups, is ideal for covering the bed platform and have a good night sleep. Composed of high density foam (HR 30 kg/m³) (2.5 in) layered with memory foam (1 in) and protected by a waterproof and machine washable cover.

  • One drawer of 32 liters  for stove and more (with adjustable and swiveling shelf. Total drawer dimension: 25.5″ x 13″ x 6″) *stove not included
  • A sink drawer with retractable sink
  • Kit Length: 72″
  • Width at rear of vehicle: 40″
  • Width at front of vehicle: 48″
  • Width of “single” bed when passenger seat up: 24″
  • Storage space next to the 26″ L x 17.25″ W drawer.
  • Adjustable height from 9.75″ to 15.75″ to accommodate more storage or more sleeping space.

Quick and easy installation in less than 5 minutes (only requires a star screwdriver).

The first assembly is done in about 20 minutes and allows you to define the height of the kit according to your choice.

– 48″ wide above the seats and 40″ wide in the trunk
– 9,75″ to 15,75″ high (adjustable height)

Kit weight : 28 kg

Recommended maximum user weight: 120 kg per person

The Roadloft SUV Camper Kit is made from sustainably-managed wood that is FSC, PEFC, and CARB Phase 2 certified.
Our wood is also protected by an ecological varnish, durable and without any toxic fumes. With the help of our designers, we have designed a solid product, made to withstand the vibrations of the road thanks to innovative and solid assembly methods.

Delivery/Pickup according to order priority order (first ordered, first delivered).
Variable time depending on demand.

  • Space available in the trunk: 40′ wide x 27′ long x 10.5 high
  • Trunk door opening of 36′ wide minimum
  • 72″ long between the tailgate door and the back of the driver and passenger seats (after moving them forward)
