If you like working with wood, you are a hands-on person and you are looking for a modern, young and dynamic work environment, this position is for you!

If you join us, in our new ergonomic manufacturing workshop, you will help manufacture our conversion kits by operating the various machines and contribute to the manual assembly process.

Your profile

You are proactive, self-sufficient, versatile, meticulous and enjoy working with wood.

Tasks and responsabilities

• Manually assemble wood boxes (using small tools such as a drill, pneumatic nailer, rotary sander, etc.)
• Feed the wooden parts finishing line.
• Install hardware, slides and make adjustments if necessary on our conversion kits.
• Perform quality control of products and prepare their packaging.

Skills and qualifications required

• Enjoy working with your hands
• Experience is an asset (but our training will allow you to learn on the job)

Hybrid - Production & Customer Service

Job description

Join our team of woodworking and Van Life enthusiasts! Start your career at RoadLoft!

If you like working with wood, you are a hands-on worker and you are looking for a modern, young and dynamic work environment, this position is for you!

If you embark on the adventure, in our new ergonomic workshop, you will participate in the construction of our conversion kits as well as in their sale and installation. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the expansion of our market in Canada and the United States. In addition, you will participate in the improvement of our customer experience, all with a dynamic team and a brilliant management team! The people here are always smiling, both customers and employees alike!

Your profile

You are proactive, autonomous, versatile, attentive and organized. You like working with and for people. You want to see a Quebec brand grow and evolve.

Tasks and responsabilities

Production :
• Manually assemble conversion kits as directed
• Install and adjust hardware on parts
• Ensure proper movement of parts through the finishing machine
• Sandblast the parts
• Perform “quality control” to ensure conformity and report anomalies
• Prepare sets for packaging and shipping to customers
Customer Service :
• Perform walk-throughs and installations of conversion kits into customer minivans and ensure an outstanding customer experience.
Eventually
• Respond to various customer inquiries received by phone, email or instant messaging
• Advise customers based on your knowledge of the various products offered

Skills and Qualifications Required

• Basic manual skills
• Very strong listening skills
• Be motivated, energetic and adaptable
• General knowledge of mechanics
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Willingness to learn and improve

Requirements

• Bilingual: French and English spoken and written
• Experience in customer service

Operator - Production and Maintenance

Production :
• Open, maintain and close the machines on the assembly line
• Place the parts on the assembly line and sand them
• Manually assemble conversion kits according to instructions
• Install and adjust hardware on parts
Maintenance :
• Industrial cleaning of machines
• Lubrication of various components
• General visual inspection
• Calibration of machinery

Skills and qualifications required

• Good physical condition
• Manual skills and competencies
• Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack
• General mechanical knowledge
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety
